Junior Computer Systems Analyst

Global Science & Technology, Inc (GST), a growing high technology company, is seeking a Junior Computer Systems Analyst in Fairmont, WV.

Position Summary:

Under supervision, assists with program coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Performs routine assignments that require following project specifications and procedures to create or modify programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to the following:

Design object-oriented software from requirements using industry standards
Work in a team to build software in an Agile environment
Assist other team members as needed
Provide minimal support to testing team

Qualification/Requirements:

Ability to work independently toward project goals
Ability to work as part of a team to reach collective goals
Aptitude for quickly understanding and troubleshooting large, complex systems

Education/Training/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Training Certificate. 5 years of related experience, including military training, can be substituted for education
0 – 1 years of experience. Basic knowledge of all phases of applications programming.
